So I’ve been thinking about it for a while and I’m always hearing how writers need to be there. Not only for promotion, but to get in touch with readers in a different way and also get loads of practice!
For now, I’m activating a series I have roughly outlined for the last several years but has basically been my C-Squad material. Not that it’s bad or anything. It just doesn’t take precedence over some of my better, more palatable work. It’s called, “Tales from the Kenoma,” and it’s a loosely connected anthology of a bunch of ideas. All of them have something in common. Gnostic, Hermetic, Neo-Platonic and Perennial themes. But they each have a wide range in genre/tropes. Some are more comical. Some are more horrific. And others might have some of my more well known Action/Adventure vibes. But they all should leave the reader with food for thought.
I may eventually put some of the material I’m cooking for the new imprint, DSNP After Dark. Which is some of my writing on the more “Adult” side. But for now, substack will just house the anthology. It will be totally free to read the polished stories, but I am taking advantage of the paywall structure for people who like to see rough stories evolve, or be part of the community. I start at $12 per month, which is on the higher side, for sure. But that’s because I want it more exclusive than the freebies I give away here. There is also an annual plan for $80, which is a much better deal. And for those interested, I also have a Founders Plan for $250.
